Aseema

As a part of my outreach initiative, I dedicated two hours every week over the course of 52 weeks at Aseema (www.aseema.org), a non governmental organization (NGO) committed to uplifting underprivileged children. I have engaged with students and taught them Mathematics and Science. This experience helped me bridge the educational gaps and cultivate academic interest in the young children.

Education is a powerful tool for empowerment and social change. The teaching approach which encouraged critical thinking and problem solving really helped in a substantial transformation in the student’s academic performance and self-confidence.

I am committed to using my skills to ensure equal access to quality education for the underprivileged communities.

Knights of Hope

In the peak of Covid-19 , I collaborated with an organisation “Knights of Hope” to  raise funds to help daily-wage workers who were struggling to make ends meet after losing their jobs with the economic inactivity during the pandemic.

I led a campaign with the aim of raising US$ 2000. Every 2 dollars contributed allowed us to provide a ration pack to the needy family. This helped resolved the food insecurity of the daily wage laborers.

I was able to communicate the urgency of the situation to all the donors and as a result was able to exceed the fundraising goal and resulted in collecting a total amount of US$2500.

The collective effort of the community made a meaningful difference in the lives of all those impacted. This experience has strengthened my belief in the feasibility of effecting positive change even while grappling with most adverse circumstances.
